The Taekwon-do World Championships are less than 9 months away and volunteers during the event are needed. There will be a need for 25-30 volunteers to cover all the shifts during the event. However, the set up and breakdown will need closer to 50 people. We are hoping to have at least 1 volunteer from each ITA club as it will spread the workload around evenly. Too all instructors that have athletes competing in the event, we urge you to enlist their parents to help out. A schedule will be drawn up to ensure that parents can volunteer and have free time to support their child while competing.
This is a massive opportunity for the ITA to be seen on an international level. In order to guarantee success, we must have the support behind us for the event. All volunteers have to be garda vetted, so it is crucial that they come forward asap. All training will be provided, so no experience is necessary.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact Teresa Keith the Volunteer Coordinator at Teresa@ballinroad.com. For the moment, please apply in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by the deadline of July 22nd 2016.Posted by Stephen Ryan
