ITA host Strategic Planning Day

ITA host Strategic Planning Day

The Irish Taekwon-Do Association held its Strategic planning day in the Horse & Jockey hotel on Sunday the 13th September. The purpose of the day was to give the membership of the association input and help to shape the ITA's next five year plan. This follows on from a very successful 5 year period after the last strategic plan was developed in 2009, which has seen unprecedented growth, extremely successful international campaigns and the 2017 World Championships being awarded to Ireland.

The day which was led by Mr Adrian Byrne began with a review of the last strategic plan and was followed by breakout groups where a SWOT analysis of the association was drawn up, key goals identified and the prioritisation of resources discussed to ensure the continued success of the group over the coming years.

The day was a great chance for all blackbelts & instructors in the Irish Taekwon-Do Association to come together, have their say and help to shape the future of Taekwon-Do in Ireland
