ITA on way to 100

ITA on way to 100

The ITA continues to grow with a membership now in excess of 90 schools across Ireland making us Irelands largest Taekwon-Do organisation. Those 90 plus schools see the value in what we are trying to achieve, a quality service for all our members. One of our key strategies in the past couple of years has been professionalising and upskilling our instructors. All ITA instructors are required to be Garda Vetted, 1st aid certified, child protection certified, have a valid coaching qualification through IMAC and the Irish Sports Council, have an up to date ITF plaque certificate and an ITF black belt certificate. In addition to this our examiners, 4th Dan and above are required to attend IICs with the ITF Grandmasters and have an international instructor certificate. This sets us apart from other organisations and gives peace of mind and assurance to our members that they will receive quality tuition from a qualified and well certified instructor. Upskilling yourself to meet these requirements takes time and effort on behalf of the instructor, however we feel that this effort is well worth it, as can be seen from the success of our organisation, its instructors and members. If you would like to enquire about becoming part of the ITA please email sryan@taekwondo.ie today.
