The next black belt grading will take place on Sunday, 6 December 2026 at Mitchelstown Community Centre, Brigown Road, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, P67 EK58
Application deadlines Completed applications must be submitted by Monday, 23 November 2026.
When applying, the club instructor must email a photograph of each candidate to sryan@taekwondo.ie. Please save the file using the candidate’s name so that it can be easily identified. Fees and payment All fees must be transferred to the ITA account by Thursday, 26 November 2026. Please use the candidate’s name and club as the payment reference.

Only complete applications—including the online form, emailed photograph, and full payment received by the relevant deadlines—will be accepted.
Candidate requirements Instructors must ensure that every candidate meets the applicable grading requirements:
• 3rd Dan and above: Candidates must hold an ITF plaque. • 4th Dan and above: Candidates must hold an International Instructor Certificate. Email sryan@taekwondo.ie for access to the online examination. • 4th Degree and above: Candidates must meet the relevant Do Course and IIC requirements.
Instructors are encouraged to review all requirements carefully before submitting an application.
